Sucker Sticks

Apparently, first graders eat sucker sticks. I gave some first graders Dum-Dum pops, and they told me they like to eat the sticks. According to the,, you have to suck on the stick lots to get it good and soft. One kid has eaten whole sticks before. He said it tastes good….

OH EW! That has to be the ew-factor equivalent of eating play-doh. I once ate green play-doh as a dare in a class (highschool, zomg, haha) and it was SO GROSS the taste remained in my mouth for TWO DAYS!
