Private: Fast Food Mess-Ups

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

So, this irritates me.

When I go to a fast food place and order my food a specific way, if the employees mess up my order and I have to take the time to park my car, go inside, and complain, why don’t they let me keep the food they messed up? Or better yet, why don’t they give that food to some needy person? People are starving on the streets. Why do they just chuck it into the trash can? That is such a waste.

Back in the day, if they messed up your food, they’d let you keep the messed up food. I mean, it’s their fault. It’s just going in the trash anyway. I’ll never forget one time I was at a McDonald’s and ordered a Happy Meal with no pickles or with mayonaise or something. They didn’t get my order right. I took them my Happy Meal bag, and they threw the whole thing away! The toy and everything!! There was nothing wrong with my fries or toy! And it was those collectable Disney figures too! :P

And why are places so skimpy on the french fries? I mean, if you’re going to give them to be in a box, fill the box up all the way, not halfway! I got a large fry, and I swear I think what they did was fill up a medium box and dump it into the large one! :P

And why are places decreasing their portion sizes but not their prices? And why does the “healthy” fast food options cost so much more?

Does this bug anyone else?

Stupid People At Movies

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

On Friday night, Colin and I went to see Disturbia. It was really, really, really good. I think it’s probably the best movie I have seen in awhile. :D It’s so funny to see Shia LaBeouf doing something other than digging holes to build character or being goofy in Even Stevens. Anyway, it was a great movie but would have been way better if…..

….the stupid, idiot people behind me weren’t making dumb remarks the whole time. :x
There was this group of people sitting behind us who kept making stupid remarks. Like, “Don’t go in there.” Or, “He’s gonna pop up at that window.” Or, “You already found your momma.” So yeah, they were talking to the guy in the movie, telling him what he should be doing or what he was doing wrong. Keep these comments to yourself in your own heads you dummies. :P
As the movie went on, the comments kept growing and they seemed to be getting louder. I was getting completely agitated. I wanted to turn around and tell them to grow up and shut up, but I didn’t really want to get myself killed or anything. I was beginning to totally have enough though, and I seirously almost got up and went and told one of the theatre employees that there were some rude people talking behind me. It turned out, it was almost the end of the movie, so I decided to just stick it out for the last few minutes.

When the theatre lights came on, I immediately turned around to look at the idiots who had pi**ed me off so darn much. I discovered two things. One- I thought the people were sitting further down the row behind me. In reality, they were right behind me. :P Two- I thought it was a group of obnoxious teenagers. It was really two kids and a man. These kids looked about 12 or 13.

This made me more mad! What kind of an adult brings two kids to a movie like that and just lets them talk and talk and talk through the whole thing! They must have gotten to their seats after the “Please do not talk during the movie” announcement played. :P
I cannot stand people who go out into public and act like total idiots. Colin and I were on our way to the car, and outside the theatre (which is in the mall) there were tons of obnoxious teenagers acting completely ridiculous. :x *screams!* I cannot STAND ditzy, stupid, obnoxious high schoolers! I am SO glad I have graduated high school. I have NO desire to ever want to go back and be amongst that kind of retardedness every day. I only hope my sister can keep her sanity when she starts high school next year.

Don’t you just hate when people talk at movies? :P
