Crafty Things Picture Post

The lovely Christine commented on my last post that she likes seeing the crafty things I make. It just so happens I was going to post all of these things sometime soon, so I decided to go ahead and post them now. 
Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
First, we have some adorable little pocket mirrors made by yours truly. Well, Colin actually helped me handpress the mirrors. I didn’t want to ruin them! I bought a 1 1/4 inch and a 2 1/4/ inch button maker back before Christmas. I tried my hand at making a button, but that’s pretty much all I did. Until this past weekend. I decided to try making a pocket mirror, and these two were the result. They are really quite adorable. I don’t think the pictures do them justice. I love making cute things! I am quite proud of the bee on the mirrors. I made it all by myselfs. love:
Next up we have some bee charms. These were an experiment. I had been wanting to try my hand at making the cute little plastic charms that seem to be sold all over Etsy and various other webshops these days. I knew they were made using ShrinkyDink paper, and I happened to buy some at Joann’s back before Christmas. I couldn’t find any of the inkjet ShrinkyDink paper though. I decided to experiment with regular ShrinkyDink paper in my printer instead. It worked, but as you can see, some places smeared. Most of the smears are from my fingers handling the other bees. They turned out fine, but they’d turn out way better (and more vivid) if I had actual inkjet ShrinkyDink paper.
Last, we have a couple of pictures of things I have been working on for several weeks now. These projects have been put on hold since I have been rather busy lately. I bet you can guess what one of them will turn out to be. 
Hopefully I can finish these two babies before say summer?

Those crafty things are so cute! I want to do some ShrinkyDink stuff too, make like little charms for jewelry. Do you know if it needs to be sealed or something to make it more durable?
And I really need to get more involved with the QBee again. :dead: I’ve just not had much motivation to do a lot of online stuff. I also don’t have my old boring desk job anymore where I sat on my butt for hours on end.

We have the same sewing machines… except mine is in a sewing case under a table because I have a kid that needs to take apart things & it can’t be out sittng pretty. I love your creations! I wish I had the patience to actually apply my ideas. I lost my patience 10 years ago. Won’t get it back till the kids move out of the house.
