The Phone Call I got at 3:43 this morning…

So, at 3:43 this morning, I was sleeping and dreaming pleasantly when my cell phone rang. It said it was from an Unknown Number, so I didn’t answer it. The phone rang again at 3:46 (same Unknown Number), but this time I answered it. This is what I heard:
“This is a message from (some numbers and some domain? didn’t catch this part). I just wanted to let you know that Colin is ugly and you should think about getting a divorce. And girl, you gotta do something with your hair.”
So, some person called me up at almost 4 in the morning to tell me my husband is ugly and that I need to change my hairstyle. I have NO idea who it was or who it could be. Not very many people have my cell phone number. And this person mentioned “domain” twice I think.
Anyway, it was just stupid and annoying.
If you were the lovely person who called me and gave me this very nice message, you can kiss my you-know-what. Get a life dude.

Grrrr! That totally sucks! I would’ve been so pissed (excuse my french) if that happened to me in the middle of the night.
How annoying!!To me, it sounds like it was just a prank call…maybe someone from your school? A student or something? Although I do find it odd that they mentioned “domain” AND how would they get your cell phone number in the first place? Weird…
I hope you find out who it was, what an inconsiderate thing to do.

Grrrr… that friggin’ sucks! Big Time! I sure hopes I’m not the next victim.. I don’t take kindly to being woken up at ANY TIME let alone at 3:43 in the morning. GRRRR. >:)
I’d check your “who is” thingy on your domain, there is a way for people to find out who owns which domain… I forget how to figure that out now though lol it might give away such information… but as for your cell phone number?! I have no idea how they would find that! :stream:
On a side note: Was it seriously a DUDE?

Well, I had that same thought Jenn, and I looked it up, and I have my phone number from my parents’ house listed for rainbow-stuff.com My stationery store is registered with my cell phone.
I didn’t recognize the “domain” this guy was referring to. Yes, a guy.
It’s strange that this happened after my husband’s brother uploaded videos of our wedding to Facebook and I told Colin that my hair looked weird. :stunned:

How very strange and rude! My boyfriend has had calls like that but people have just said strange things down the phone. The weirdest phone calls in the wee hours of the morning are those that just have white noise on the other end. Creepy.

What on Earth would possess someone to do that to you or anyone for that matter?! That takes A LOT of nerve and must have been hurtful. =(

I still think it hillarious… and mostly because, how bored with their sad gutter life was this person to call you like that? I really don’t understand why when people are completely miserable and hate themselves so much they have to try and make someone else miserable. THey really need to call their local pastor or psychiatrist… really now.

Some people really have no lives. I mean who does a domain lookup to call someone they don’t even know at almost 4 in the morning?

And that whole phone calling thing is just beyond pathetic. I’m sorry there are such rude people that feel they have to harass you. :hmm: -
I hope you’re having fun working. I’m excited for you about it, haha. Oh how I miss working at a school. What kind of degree do you have to work in a computer lab?
