Me - Ashley

Welcome to Rainbow Stuff, cyberhome of... well... me! I'm Ashley - a 25 year old elementary school computer lab teacher from Kentucky. I met my husband online and I love him, strawberry smoothies and my one-eyed cat, Pouncy. This is my blog, personal website, and general collection of my bits of randomness. Rainbows rule. More?

Computer Lab Stuff

Date Friday, July 27, 2007 at Clock 3:18 pm ()

The start of the school year is rapidly approaching which means back to work for me. I had meetings scheduled for July 30 and August 1-3. Luckily, the August 1-3 meetings were cancelled. :)

My mom and Katee have been helping decorate the computer lab. I’m going for an ocean theme. “Dive into technology.” :D The picture below is from the lab. I uploaded a few others to my computer lab album.

My ocean themed computer lab

I have so many things to do to get ready for the school year to start. I’m running out of time! It’s exciting, but at the same time I’m not ready for my summer vacation to be over. I like watching my painting shows on tv and being home with Pouncy all day. I guess all good things must come to an end though. I can’t wait to get the district calendar so I can see if they printed my school calendar image good.

Looks wonderful, Ashley. The kids should feel lucky that you put so much into their computer lab for them. Have fun.

That must be one of the funnest things about teaching kids - decorating the classroom! I always found stuff on the wall kept me motivated. Who knows why! Do you do a different theme each year then?
