At the Drive-In

Friday night Colin and I went to the Drive-In. We’ve never been to a drive-in together. Heck, I’ve only ever been once and that was to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in the rain.
We saw Ratatouille. It was pretty good. Cute too. It was a little more adult-ish than some of the other Disney/Pixar movies out there. The Incredibles was that way a little bit too. It had funny moments, but it wasn’t like over-the-top funny. There were some parts they could have totally drug out, but instead, they got to the point pretty much. Remy is such a cute little rat. Never thought I’d use “cute” and “rat” in the same sentence.
We got to the movie before the first showing had ended. We parked in the back and played our Nintendo DS’s trying not to look at the screen. I’m getting really far on Cake Mania. I need to play Animal Crossing Wild World more often. I don’t socialize with my neighbors on there anymore. Lots have moved out of my town. Oh well. When one leaves, another comes.
We had tried to play Jungle Golf before we saw the movie. It was closed when we got there. We figure they must have closed because of the weather. It had rained a whole lot earlier on in the day. Oh well. We had fun at our movie with the chips, and cookies, and candy we brought with us.
Who cares if we got home at 3 a.m.
Fun times!
And now… tomorrow is Colin’s big day. He begins his “career” tomorrow at the library!!

I’ve never even seen a drive in. Where I am they don’t have them, and UI don’t even know where to go to see one.

i’ve heard that ratatouille is pretty good. i just might have to check it out…

I think I’ll be watching that movie as soon as it hits the movie house. Right now, every movie house in the Philippines is infested with autobots. Megatron has invaded the Philippines!
I “removed” myself from cake mania when I realized how addicting it can be. It’s a form of self-preservation… well, more like, school-preservation lol

I miss going to the drive in, The last movie I saw there was shrek, the first one.
I beat cake mania, so I’m going to give you a tip, take if you want. When you get to the part where you got the 4 or 5 brides right in a row, do them one at a time because they will leave. If you don’t get them all, you won’t beat the level.
-
Skye: Cake Mania can definitely be addicting. I want to beat it by the end of the week. Guess I better get busy.

Jolene: Thanks for that tip!! I haven’t gotten to that part yet, but now I’ll know what to do! Thanks again!

Aww… I haven’t played AC:WW in so long
I hope Bob (purple cat and my favorite neighbor) hasn’t moved away T____T -
Drive-ins seems so cool. I wish we had those in Sweden.

Are you sure the time was spent playing your nintendo DS?
If it was me I would have done other things.
Anyhow hun I changed my url that part of my life is over for a bit. Change it NOW!! j/k take your time. -
That movie sounds fun to watch! Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh I’ve always wanted to go to a Drive-In cinema. They’re not that popular over here though and there are only two or three drive-in cinemas in the state if I’m correct.
Oh I wanna see that film. I’ve loved all the Pixar films. As far as I’m concerned they can’t go wrong. They’re just awesome!
I’ve been thinking of getting a Nintendo DS lately. They look like a lot of fun and the games sound great too. I never knew Cake Mania came on Nintendo DS. I loved the computer version of it.
The new theme looks great by the way!

Going to the drive-in sounds like a lot of fun
I love your new theme! -
We have a drive-in right down the street where I go because its cheaper and you don’t have to worry about people being too loud
Congrats to Colin! -
I don’t think drive-in’s exist around here. Actuallly there’s nothing round here you can do sober at 3am, unfortunately! Ratatouille looks like the sort of film to rent rather than watch in cinema. I’m a little bit tentative about these recent 3D animation films. Like you said, they tend to be funny and unfunny at the same time.
I’m addicted to my DS as well. Animal Crossing is too entertaining for my own good. Even if Tom Nook is a slave driver :stream:

Oh wow, a drive in theater. I’ve never been to one. There used to be one in my area, but it closed down long before I moved there. Ratatouille seems like a good movie, I’ll probably go see it.

I wish we had drive ins, that would be really fun! I want to see Ratatouille myself, it looks pretty funny, especially from the previews.
Good luck to Colin with the “career.”
