Welcome to TT! Great first list. Sounds like you’ve had your hands full in school today.

Great Job! Welcome to TT. I know it sounds fun to color pictures, but man it can get old too.

Sounds like an active day. I’m not sure I could keep up with first graders any more.

It sounds more like play than work !!
My sister teaches 1st grade (in Covington,KY)She never wanted any part of the older kids…
Like the ones at DISTURBIA…(I dug that one too!!!)
Do you guys have Drive-Ins where you live ??? -
I’m tired just reading about your day! You have a lot of energy I guess…Happy TT!
I love the look of your site, way cool!

Sounds like a WAY better day at work than I had! I was ready to hit my head on the desk on purpose

Great first TT list!!! Really enjoyed it!

Working with kids can definitely be “play.”
This class of first graders I was covering today is a wild bunch though.@ Michael: I prefer the younger kids too. Especially second grade which is what I taught last year in Lexington. We have a Drive-In an hour or an hour and a half away. I’ve only been there once though. I wanna go sometime this summer.

Sounds like a pretty productive day to me! And like you engaged in some really valuable activities, like running the little kid’s head.
